The Legend of the Penn State Rock
This Penn State Rock was painted in the summer of 1985. Before each game during the "85 – "86 season, friends of the painter would touch the stone for good luck. It worked…… a perfect season and a National Championship in 1986!!! The rock disappeared for twenty years following that Fiesta Bowl victory before being recovered by Blue Hair's brother and since the 2005 season it has helped Penn State win an average of ten games each year with multiple bowl victories. So stop by Blue Hair’s tailgate before each game this season and touch the rock with passion and enthusiasm shouting "Go Penn State". With your help and the power of this rock and its impressive past, Penn State will have another great season.
